Monday (2/11)

  • Reading Log- Students performing monologues or dialogues can record practice time on Reading Log.

  • Fables Click on The fables History tab and record 5-10 bulleted notes on the history of fables.

  • Read two versions of "The Milk Maid and Her Pails" and "Buckets"as it's called in this animated video version. Be prepared to discuss the similarities and differences of the various versions in class on Tuesday.


Tuesday (2/12)

  • Reading Log-Students performing monologues or dialogues can record practice time on Reading Log.

  • Use the provided on-line Aesop's fable resource to read the "The Bundle of Sticks" and additional fable of your choice. Write about the moral of each and how they relate to lessons you've learned in your family.

  • Go back to yesterday's Fable link and click on the moral in fables tab to read about morals and how they relate to society.

Wednesday (2/13)

  • Reading Log-Students performing monologues or dialogues can record practice time on Reading Log.

  • Read 5-10 additional fables from one of the on-line fable resources we've been using in class. on-line Aesop's fable resource or Aesop Fables Record the title and moral of each fable in your Reading response journal.

Thursday

  • Reading Log-Students performing monologues or dialogues can record practice time on Reading Log.

  • HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!! No additional homework.

Friday

  • Study WM I and II vocabulary each day for at least 10 minutes (Fri., Sat., Sun., Mon., Tues.) You may use Quizlet or another source. Have parents sign agenda for each day you studied. WM challenge is next week.
